Saiho's Commitment

Saihou's seriously

Saiho pattern

At Saiho, we cherish our traditions while also challenging ourselves with new ideas and new patterns.
The checkered pattern has been loved in both the East and the West for its simple and concise design. However, polishing cylindrical, curved glass into a flat, square shape requires far greater skill and perseverance than it might appear.
Saiho has created a bold checkered pattern that completely changes the image of the traditional checkered pattern.

The Fuji and cherry blossom design makes use of the depth of the glass, so that when you look at Mount Fuji from the front, it looks like a hazy moon is hanging over it, and when you look at the moon from the front, you can see Mount Fuji within the moon.
Our skilled craftsmen have created these products with care so that you can enjoy your evening drink alongside the cherry blossoms, which have been loved by Japanese people since ancient times.

Attention to color

When you think of Edo Kiriko, many people probably think of blue and red glass.
At Saiho, we don't just use the traditional red and blue of glasses, but also apply patterns using traditional techniques to glasses of a variety of colors.
