Materials and Features

Edo Kiriko glass is hand-cut by artisans. It features traditional and original patterns. It is made from soda glass, which has a high light diffusion property. At Saiho, we handle everything from design to production.

Regarding handling

Due to the characteristics of glass, please be careful of boiling water and sudden temperature changes.
Please avoid using a dishwasher as this may cause scratches or damage.

Please be careful not to make any mistakes when specifying the color or name. Cancellations will not be accepted even if there is a mistake. Please be especially careful not to confuse the blue and lapis lazuli colors.

*If you would like to have more than three items personalized, please add the optional "Personalization" option to the desired number of items. Also, please let us know the name you would like to have personalized using the button below.

These glasses feature the traditional Japanese patterns of "Kenshibishi" (diamond crest), along with the Edo Kiriko traditional patterns of "Hoshi" (star) and "Sasa no Ha" (bamboo leaves). The bamboo leaves symbolize a wish for a long and healthy life, full of vitality. They come in a wooden box of five.
