Materials and Features

Edo Kiriko glass is hand-cut by artisans. It is made up of traditional and original patterns. It is made of soda glass, which has a high light diffusion property. At Saiho, we handle everything from design to production.

Regarding handling

Due to the characteristics of glass, please be careful of boiling water and sudden temperature changes.
Please refrain from using a dishwasher as this may cause scratches or damage.

Edo Kiriko beer glass from Kurogarasu Koubou Saiho. This is a popular Kurogara glass.
Saiho's black Kiriko is characterized by its jet black color and clear contrast.

 The vertical stripes are finished with the traditional Edo Kiriko pattern "octagonal basket weave." The basket weave pattern is modeled after a bamboo basket and is said to have the power to ward off evil spirits.
